President of the Union of Professional Tennis
Raúl Sánchez Sentana is the founder and director of the Union of Professional Tennis, created to promote the game of tennis worldwide, for both teaching professionals and tennis players.
Raúl has numerous national and international professional certifications, spanning a coaching career that began as Technical Director of the Athletic Club Montemar and assisting the Sports Schools of the municipality and the provinces of Castellón, Valencia, Alicante, Albacete and Murcia. Raúl is currently the Academy Director of the Plà Roig de Banyeres de Mariola Tennis Club (Bañeres) and director of tennis at the San Roque and San Vicente de Paúl Diocesan schools.
In addition, Raúl is an official tutor for national courses organized by the Valencian Community Tennis Federation and director of the UPT tennis circuit in the Valencian Community. In 2006, Raúl was presented the award for best Director of a Spanish Tennis School at the annual awards banquet in Madrid during the XVI Professional Tennis Week.
